I can't believe that I'm even going to write this post.

I really shouldn't be doing this.

It's going to alert murphy and he'll be over here in 2 shakes enforcing all his laws and stuff.

But, what the heck, let's live on the edge.

Could it really be.....

Spring?!

(If I'm quiet about it, maybe Murphy will stay away! it's worth a shot, right?)

I snapped that today, in my front yard.  I was thrilled to see a little green popping up through the muck.

The girls and I got in a great walk this afternoon and afterward we created a little sidewalk art.

Little Mama and I also worked on some letters and numbers.

Its much more fun than flash cards!

I can't believe how much I love 55 degrees!

mother nature is a tease.

We had a few days of beautifully warm (read: 55 degrees) weather around here.  It was thrilling to say the least. 

On Thursday, we stopped by the park and boy, was is awesome!

The girls had a blast!  It was their first time at the park in forever!

Unfortunately, I have to tell you that this story doesn't end well.  Friday, Mother Nature reminded us that it was indeed still winter and gave us 30 degree temps with gray skies.  Even, today, on the first day of spring she teased us the sun was out...but it was 30 degrees. 

I WANT SPRING.

Could it be?

The sun is shining.

My windows are open.

The snow is melting.

It's 40 degrees!

Spring is just around the corner!

And for all the Californian's (or other warm weather readers) - Yes, 40 degrees is warm enough to have the windows open.  After 3 months of single digit or sub zero temps, 40 degrees is a very welcome relief!

I hope it's not long before I'm seeing these again.
