Saturday June 28-
This was the day of the annual parade. Our neighbor, Jay, is running for city council this fall and asked us to walk in the parade with him. The girls were thrilled to be in a parade. Kaylee was a little shy about handing out the campaign literature but still had a great time!
We walked to the parade route on main street and Corey pulled the girls in the wagon.
As you can see we had a storm to contend with. Lucky for us it held out until after we were home and napping quietly. Still, Kaylee had her trusty Dora umbrella with her; just in case.
On the walk home, Kaylee insisted on pulling Maya in the wagon.
It was a great day. Kaylee just loved being in the parade and seeing some of her teachers and friends along the route.
