Carving Pumpkins

The night before Halloween we went to a quick party at daycare. After we got home we carved the pumpkins. Both girls were a little hesitant at first, neither wanted to get their hands in to the "guts" of the pumpkin. It wasn't long before they realized it was fun to dig around in there, with the saftey of their spoons!




Daddy worked hard carving an elaborate spider web design and another complicated funny face. K was adamant that we have the smaller pumpkin carved to match a ceramic jack-o-lanter we had in the house.

K managed to stay up late enough to see the finished products all lit up outside, M got to enjoy them the following evening. They both had a blast making a mess!
