Ok so she hasn't really flipped out. But she has learned to flip very well, thanks to her gymnastics class. Her last class was on Tuesday (10/30). I'm sad that the class is over because she did the best that she's ever done. She has really enjoyed her gymnastics and she looked forward to class each week.
For her last week we had a big talk about participating alone. She often doesn't want to do things on her own and wants me to stand right next to her. Generally, she gets really shy and clams up when the coach is watching her. But this week she did a fabulous job on her own!
Generally she's very timid walking on the beam. But this week she tried walking alone and let me help her with a few jumps. She even let Coach Jess use her demonstrate this to the class on the bar! She was really proud of herself afterward!
Our little Mary Lou Retton is growing up too fast! She loves gymnastics and I'm already looking for the next session to sign her up for.
