The girls had a great day at their dance competition yesterday!
K and I started the day off bright and early. We arrived at the convention center at 730am and started the day out with K’s trio performance.
They won 1st place overall in the age 7-8 duets & trios category, an Elite First Place award, and a cash prize! I’m so proud of the hard work these girls have put in. It really showed yesterday!!
Next up for the day was Little Mama’s Jewels team. These little ones have worked very hard and it showed with their 2 Elite top first place trophies and 2nd & 3rd place awards overall!

Little Mama was lucky enough to get to accept the awards for their Tap Dance. That’s her all the way to the right (next to the boy in blue who is also from our studio).

This year K is on the “Broadway Babies'” team. They compete with 3 dances (Tap, Jazz, and Ballet).

Hip Hop
K totally rocked her solo “peek a boo” leg lift in her hip hop routine.
This routine won 1st overall in it’s category too.

Before the end of the show some of the kids who were watching got invited up to the announcer’s table. K was there and thrilled that she got to say “and that’s a wrap on day 2” in to the mic with the rest of the kids.

Little Mama left with Daddy and Baby D right after K’s last dance of the evening. K and I stayed until the end of the night to see the rest of our studio’s routines and for the awards ceremony. When we got home Little Mama was “waiting up” for us on the couch with Daddy.
We had a great day! I am definitely one proud Mama bear.
